Ashram Facilities
The Purpose of Convenience
"The main objective of the ashram is to facilitate meditation and devotion as advocated by Gurudev."
In the early days, the ashram lacked basic amenities like electricity and running water. Over the years, facilities have been added to suit changing times, yet the core purpose remains unchanged: to create an environment conducive to spiritual growth.
Accommodation
Common separate halls as well as rooms with lights and fans for gents and ladies. However, most devotees prefer to sleep in the temple as it facilitates meditation.
Bathrooms & Hot Water
Common bathrooms and toilets equipped with tap water. Sustainable hot water is provided via solar heaters for the comfort of devotees.
Laundry
Dedicated facilities are available for washing clothes, ensuring long-term visitors can maintain cleanliness during their spiritual retreat.
Drinking Water
Filtered and softened drinking water is provided. Though Nimbal lies in a dry belt with water scarcity, the trust ensures safe water availability.
Power Backup
Electricity from generators and inverters ensures uninterrupted power for the temple, halls, and rooms, overcoming the village's frequent power scarcity.
Dining (Prasad)
The trust provides tea, breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the dining hall at fixed timings, serving sattvic food to support spiritual practice.
Locker Facilities
Lockers are available for regular visitors to store clothes, bedding, and essentials. Devotees are advised to bring personal items as there are no local shops.
Communication
A public telephone facility is available for devotees to stay connected with their families if necessary during their stay.
Book Store
A dedicated store where spiritual literature and books related to the Pathway to God, as advocated by Gurudev, are sold at discounted rates.
Parking
Ample parking space is provided within the ashram premises for the safety and convenience of devotees' vehicles.
Medical Care
A dispensary with a visiting doctor is available to attend to basic medical requirements and emergencies.
Library
A serene library containing a vast collection of spiritual books is available for devotees to refer to and deepen their understanding.
