In short, other than Google authentication and non-personal app performance and security-related analytics, we do not collect any of your data. Everything else — including your sadhan practice records, metrics, saved thoughts, and bookmarks — is stored directly on your own Google Drive once connected (and locally on your device).

• Google Authentication: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile information, and a Firebase user ID. We use this only to create, authenticate, and manage your Namsadhan account.
• No Collection of Sadhana Data, Metrics, Saved Thoughts, or Bookmarks: We do not collect, monitor, transmit, or store your personal sadhana data, practice metrics (such as Namasmaran counts, durations, and streaks), saved thoughts, or bookmarked content on our servers.
• Storage on User's Own Google Drive: To maintain complete secrecy and privacy, your sadhana data, metrics, saved thoughts, bookmarks, and preferences are saved directly to your own personal Google Drive once connected, as well as in local secure storage on your device. The Trust and third parties have no access to your Google Drive or your private data.
• App Performance & Security Analytics: We collect only non-personal technical metrics to maintain app stability, prevent security threats, and fix bugs:
  • Crash Analytics: Crash reports and error stack traces (via Firebase Crashlytics) to identify and fix unexpected app crashes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Load times and screen responsiveness metrics to maintain smooth performance across devices.
  • Device & Security Telemetry: Device type, OS version, and basic diagnostics to ensure security, prevent abuse, and resolve compatibility issues.

The limited information we collect is used strictly to:

• Authenticate your identity and manage your user account via Google Sign-In.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot crashes, and maintain security and stability.
• Send optional notifications (such as Namasmaran reminders) if you have them enabled.

Because your sadhana data, metrics, saved thoughts, and bookmarks are stored directly on your own Google Drive and device, we do not have access to them, and they are never used, analyzed, or shared by us.

To provide the full functionality of the Namsadhan app, we may request certain permissions on your device:

• Google Drive Storage: Required solely to sync and store your sadhana data, metrics, saved thoughts, and bookmarks directly to your own Google Drive once connected. The app cannot access any other personal files in your Google Drive.
• Microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO): This permission is required by a core audio playback library (expo-av) used by the app to play audio sounds. We do not, under any circumstances, record, store, or transmit any audio from your device's microphone.
• Notifications: Allows the app to send you reminders if you opt-in to receive them.

We use trusted third-party service providers strictly for authentication, performance, and security infrastructure:

Other than sharing non-personal app performance and security diagnostics with Google Firebase to maintain app reliability, we do not share any data. Your sadhana data, metrics, saved thoughts, and bookmarks are never shared with or accessible to anyone, because they reside exclusively on your own personal Google Drive and device.

Since your sadhana data, metrics, saved thoughts, and bookmarks are stored on your own Google Drive and device, you have full control to view, export, or delete them at any time directly through the app or by deleting the data from your Google Drive.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and security. By storing your sadhana data, metrics, saved thoughts, and bookmarks directly on your own Google Drive and device, your personal records remain under your control.

For authentication and transmission of app performance and security telemetry, we use industry-standard administrative and electronic measures, including SSL encryption and Google Cloud secure infrastructure, to safeguard your data from loss, theft, and unauthorized access.

Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in the app and updating the "effective date" at the top of this page.
