The Process of Initiation

After Shri Gurudev's Niryaan

After Gurudev left his mortal coil, in order to satisfy aspirants who wish to tread the pathway to God and become the disciples of Gurudev, the methodology was finalized by his senior spiritual brothers, which has been followed hitherto.

The Aspirant's Approach

The aspirant approaches Nimbal Ashram. The person appointed for explaining the process of initiation guides the aspirant and asks them to write the Divine Name on which they like to meditate on a piece of paper.

The Sacred Oath

The aspirant is taken to Gurudev's Samadhi (the pedestal where Gurudev's holy relics are kept). The name-paper is placed on the Samadhi. The aspirant prays with utmost devotion for acceptance and reads out the oath of living a high moral life.

Meditation

The aspirant picks up the paper, reads it, and proceeds to the Samadhi Mandir (meditation hall) to begin meditating on the Name with full faith.

The Blessing

All such disciples are also blessed with God vision, peace, happiness, and tranquility.

The Discipline

The Divine Name is to be kept secret. The disciple must meditate on it without changing, prefixing, or suffixing any word or letter to it.

The Stay Mandatory

After initiation, the Namdharak must stay at the Ashram for 24 hours.

Important Notice

Devotees wishing to receive Initiation (Anugrah) are requested to contact the Ashram in advance or confirm the details directly with the Ashram authorities.

Only after receiving confirmation from the Ashram should devotees make travel arrangements to Nimbal specifically for the purpose of Initiation.

Initiation (Anugrah) is conducted on the following days:

  • Monday
  • Thursday
  • Saturday

We kindly request all devotees to coordinate with the Ashram beforehand to ensure a smooth and well-organized visit.
